To be eligible for this program, your household income must be $150,000 or less per year. Why? Because this program aims to help those who have historically been unable to gain access to solar energy and face the greatest energy cost burdens.

The solar lease will save the parish an estimated $62,000 over the next 25 years. The energy savings will have the additional benefit of enhancing the resources the church can devote to helping people in the community.
Solar For ALL Updates
On Earth Day last year, Georgia BRIGHT Communities initiative received $156 million from the EPA’s Solar for All program. This funding will help empower low-income and disadvantaged communities in Georgia to access rooftop solar through 2029. Programs under Solar For All will serve households earning under 80% of the Area Median Income or located in disadvantaged census tracts. Solar for All aims to bring solar energy benefits to communities that have historically lacked access to clean energy.
